We're thrilled to announce our Student of the Month for May! This exceptional individual has demonstrated outstanding dedication, enthusiasm, and progress in their musical journey.

We're excited to congratulate the students who achieved success in the latest CM test and our Practice Competition! Your hard work, dedication, and musical talents have shone brightly, and we couldn't be prouder of your accomplishments. Keep up the fantastic work and continue to strive for excellence in your musical endeavors.

Get ready for an unforgettable musical adventure at Cadenza Music Academy's Summer Camp! Dive into a world of melody, rhythm, and creativity as we explore various instruments, learn exciting melodies, and make lasting memories with friends. Don't miss out on a summer filled with music, laughter, and fun!

Also, mark your calendars for our Next Little Concert (Students Recital) on 11/2/2024, Saturday at 3 pm at Newport Harbor Lutheran Church. We're looking forward to showcasing the talent and progress of our students in this special event!

Student of the Month: BRANDON CHIEN

Congratulations on your outstanding dedication and tireless effort in pursuing knowledge; your hard work is truly admirable and deserving of recognition

What instruments do you play? I play the piano and the violin.

How long have you taken lessons? I have been taking piano lessons for 6 years.

Who are your favorite musical artists or song? One of the artists I like is Avicii and some of the genres that I like listening to are EDM Vaporwave and house music.

What are your other hobbies besides music? My hobbies are reading, and gaming.

What would you like to play for the next recital? I will be playing Dmitry Kabalevsky's Op.51 - Seven Cheerful Variations on a Slovakian Folk Song.

What do you like about playing violin? The thing that I enjoy most about playing the piano is how it allows me to aim my mind away from all of the other things that happen allowing myself to unwind and relax.
