What instruments do you play? Â I play the piano.
How long have you taken lessons? I have taken piano lessons with Ms. Minako for ten years!
Who are your favorite musical artists? My favorite composers include Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, and Vivaldi.
What are your other hobbies besides music? Outside of piano, I enjoy debating, playing beach volleyball, writing, traveling, and spending time with my family, my friends, and my dog.
What would you like to play for the next recital? For the next recital, I would love to play Impromptu Op. 90, No. 4 by Franz Schubert.
What do you like about playing piano? For me, playing piano is a poignant form of self-expression. As my fingers glide over the slick black and white keys, I feel myself melting into the melodic notes I produce. Through piano, I am able to craft dynamic sounds that reflect various emotions and communicate those feelings with others.
